Market Now: BoB, Idea Cellular most traded stocks
NEW DELHI: Shares of Bank of Baroda (number of shares traded: 1.48 crore), Idea Cellular (0.30 crore) and State Bank of India (0.20 crore) were the most active stocks in terms of volume on NSE in morning trade on Wednesday.
Shares of YES Bank (0.19 crore), Punjab National Bank (0.19 crore), Sun Pharma (0.18 crore), Hindalco Industries (0.18 crore), SAIL (0.17 crore), REC (0.15 crore), Axis Bank (0.14 crore), ITC (0.14 crore) and GAIL (0.13 crore) were also among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange.
Domestic equity markets were trading in the negative territory.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 22 points down at 10,165, while BSE Sensex was 63 points down at 32,879 around 09:35 am (IST).
All sectoral indices were trading in the red, with Nifty Metal cracking over 2 per cent, on NSE.

In the Nifty index, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Tech Mahindra, Indian Oil Corporation, Ambuja Cements, Larsen & Toubro and ICICI Bank were the top gainers.
Hindalco Industries, Vedanta, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Tata Steel, GAIL (India), YES Bank, NTPC, Bajaj Finance and Indiabulls Housing Finance were among the top losers.
