Indian ADRs end trade on a mixed note; HDFC Bank, Dr Reddys down
American Depository Receipts of several Indian companies ended trade on a mixed note in Tuesday’s trading session, taking the cues of the lacklustre performance of the US Markets. Also, weakness in their locally listed shares added impetus to the fall of the ADRs.
Among the gainers were the ADRs of ICICI Bank, Infosys, Wipro, WNS (Holdings) and Yatra Online, which gained significantly in the range of 0.8 to 10.19%.
Among the losers were the ADRs of Azure Power, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, HDFC Bank, MakeMyTrip, Sify, Tata Motors, Videocon d2h and Vedanta Ltd, which dampened the market by losing in the range of 0.1 to 2.8%.
